Thanksgiving 2021- Thank you!

Happy Thanksgiving over American Flag illustration

May you live in interesting times.

An ancient saying which over the last year and half or so may seem a little too ironic. We have been through a major event in American history. And like the early settlers of our country after their trying times, we have much to be thankful for.

First, thank you for your loyalty and support. You are what we are all about. Since 1979 we have done our best to provide you the most accurate, up-to-date and useful information available. And since 2007, we have provided the state-of-the-art whey protein isolate for you and your family. We are so proud to have so many high school and college athletes enjoying the benefits of JDD protein. I was just talking with a long time personal coaching client end of last week. His second son is a freshman in high school, a lefty on the varsity water polo team, and already incorporates JDD shakes to start his day, pre-practice and especially post workout. His olderbrother has been doing JDD shakes for 5 years and is a water polo player and freshman at the University of California, Berkeley. Just one example of a healthy family enjoying the nutritious benefits the cleanest, purest, highest quality protein. We thank you and all the healthy families in healthy homes
providing the highest quality nourishment for themselves and their families.

Luck is Realizing Just How Fortunate we Have Been and Giving Thanks

Often in life so much of luck is realizing just how fortunate we have been and giving thanks. An attitude of gratitude as the saying goes. If anything has become apparent over the last year and a half or so, it is that we can not take our good fortune for granted. As the saying goes: yesterday is gone forever, and tomorrow is promised to no one. So staypresent and aware and appreciate and be thankful for every day. I can still vividly recall a very different Thanksgiving in 1966. I was a 22 year old Marine squad leader in the jungles of Vietnam. I was in the I corps area near the DMZ. It was the monsoon season which means months of non-stop rain. We slept in the mud, were wet and cold and shivering 24 hours a day. We were not sitting down to a hot turkey dinner as many Americans were. We were patrolling in the non-stop monsoon rains and running ambush patrols at night. If we were lucky we got to heat up our c-rations and if we were really lucky, we got to have a c-ration can of instant coffee with powdered creamer and a packet of sugar. But we were alive and hot instant coffee
never tasted so good or felt so good providing a little warmth to our miserably cold wet bodies. And we were thankful for small blessings. To this day I love clean dry clothes and hot showers. I am thankful for the little things every day. I realize that despite the hardships of the past months of covid19 and all the restrictions we endured, we are still all very fortunate to
be living in the greatest country on earth.

With this in mind I want to say thank you. And you have my pledge that I will continue to do my very best to provide cutting edge information and the highest quality products for you and your family. And may we share this day of gratitude together on the path of loving kindness.

Your coach,
Joe Dillon
